Fifth Anniversary of TemeculaWeather.com

Wednesday, August 17th, 2005 is the fifth anniversary of the first visit to TemeculaWeather.com. Five years ago, on August 17th, 2000, the Google search engine robot was the first visitor. The first human visitor arrived two weeks later, on August 31st, 2000. TemeculaWeather.com has been linked on the City of Temecula web pages since early 2001. In the five years since, TemeculaWeather.com has grown substantially, serving up its two millionth page today, and averaging 2,400 pages viewed per day currently. The millionth page was served on May 25, 2004, only a little more than a year ago. It has been our pleasure to serve the Temecula Valley over these past five years with accurate, current weather, forecasts, weather reports, and news stories. TemeculaWeather.com has more recently grown into WeatherCurrents.com (since 2003), expanding from serving just Temecula to western Riverside and northern San Diego counties. The second weather site, Murrieta, was added in November, 2003. Today there are eight weather sites in the WeatherCurrents network, and we'll continue to expand to surrounding communities in Southern California as time and resources allow. |
