The feed from the new De Luz weather station began today, with a scorching high of 99.7°F.
Most weather readings were working as of Monday evening.
Because the old and new stations are about six miles apart, continuing the weather archive from the old site is not possible. As a result, the climate and normal calculations will begin from June 26th, 2006.
A special thanks to Steve Rhodes, the owner of the weather station, for working with WeatherCurrents to provide weather data into our network.
Items still to complete for the transfer are links to the former weather site data in northeast De Luz, and a precipitation offset for the season (actual seasonal precipitation at the new site is 13.06"). |
