An early-season storm from the Pacific Northwest brought cool weather and light showers to parts of the region Thursday.
A low pressure system arrived this week, bringing much-welcomed cooler weather and cloudy conditions with it. Although most WeatherCurrents stations did not record any measurable rainfall Thursday, Beaumont (Cherry Valley) and De Luz both reported 0.06 inches and 0.01 inch respectively. In East Highland, Peter Michas reported 0.07 inches Thursday. The cool weather arrived just in time for the Autumnal equinox on Friday, which will occur at 1:02 PM PDT.
Warm, dry weather is expected to return next week with the arrival of offshore flow. |
