A fast-moving, cold storm left rainfall in its wake as it came quickly through the Saturday night and Sunday morning of a holiday weekend.
The rainfall was the last predicted for the month of November, which has been a close to average month in terms of precipitation. Normal rainfall for the month ranges from about three quarters of an inch to about an inch and quarter in the inland valleys.
This storm was about as expected, with rainfall generally a tenth of an inch or less in most locations. The exceptions were Fallbrook, with 0.21", and Wildomar, with 0.13".
Perris and Hemet tied for the least amount of rainfall (0.02"), followed by Menifee (0.04").
The next storm looks to be a week ago, currently forecast for later next weekend.
NOAA's Climate Prediction Center is currently predicting below normal rainfall for December, January, and February. Predictions will be updated in a few days.
Data from WeatherCurrents' San Jacinto station continued to be unavailable due to equipment problems there.
