The following are a collection of photos taken this past New Year's Eve at a celebration at the new Temecula City Hall in Old Town Temecula.
The photos include a Beatles cover band, the City Hall adorned with grapes (that dropped at midnight) and the "2011" letters, and skaters enjoying a temporary ice skating rink out in front of the hall.
Sandy Wood, who has contributed many photos over the years to WeatherCurrents.com, took the pictures that capture the holiday scene. Sandy is based in Murrieta and some of her work is available online at 8amphotography.blogspot.com
