A weak low pressure system brought scattered light rain showers to parts of the region early Monday morning, with amounts totaling mostly under 1/10 of an inch. 
Storm totals were led by Beaumont (Cherry Valley) and Moreno Valley, with 0.17 inches and 0.12 inches respectively. Notable totals were also reported by Monty Parrott in East San Jacinto (0.06 inches) and by Peter Michas in East Highland (0.05 inches). A period of warm, dry weather was expected to take over for the remainder of the week.
