Low pressure brought scattered showers to portions of the region Sunday and Monday, mainly over the mountains to the east and nearby areas.
WeatherCurrents' station in Anza was the only such station to record measurable rainfall in the WeatherCurrents network on Monday, with 0.02 inches falling there Monday afternoon. In East Highland, 0.03 inches was reported by contributor Peter Michas early Sunday morning. In San Diego County, the National Weather Service received a report of pea-sized hail in the community of San Diego Country Estates, located east of Ramona. Further east, one quarter of an inch of rain was reported near Julian. Shower activity had ended by Monday night. |
