Ground Shakes During Small Earthquake Felt Throughout Area Tuesday

A small earthquake registering 3.9 on the Richter scale was felt through much of the forecast area Tuesday afternoon. The quake occurred at 3:38pm and was centered about 8 miles WNW of Lake Elsinore.
