Following a relatively dry March, the first storm of April fizzled, bringing only isolated showers over Wednesday night and Thursday morning.
Murrieta was the wettest of the WeatherCurrents stations in Riverside and San Diego counties, with 0.09" from the storm. Moreno Valley, Menifee Valley and De Luz recorded 0.02". Although there were trace amounts of rainfall elsewhere, none of the other eight stations received enough rainfall to register.
Up to a third of an inch of rainfall had been predicted.
