Cold, surface high pressure building south over the deserts will force gusty Santa Ana winds through and below passes and along the coastal foothills through early Monday. Monday will be very dry and a little warmer. Cooler, onshore flow returns Tuesday, with a slow increase in humidity ahead of a storm system well off the Coast. Consensus has this system moving across the region Wednesday night. Precipitation associated with this storm could break out as early as Wednesday afternoon and continue into Thursday. Dry and warmer weather will return to wrap up the week.
