Thunderheads have moved west of the mountains Saturday afternoon and may cause showers or thunderstorms in some spots.
A National Weather Service advisory said the central portion of the Inland Empire was most at risk for the day, including Riverside, Moreno Valley, Perris and Sun City.
Most of the major moisture was over the mountains and deserts, where flash flood warnings were in effect.
There is a chance of thunderstorms each day over much of the next week in most inland areas. Some of the moisture is due to the breakup of Hurricane John over southern Baja California, Mexico. |
