As we are in a transition season (Spring), often patterns will vary from day to day that almost look like a seasonal variation. That's what our week ahead will look like.

The low pressure area that moved east of the region yesterday, along with some showers and thunderstorms in the mountains, will head back our way for Tuesday. The low, combined with a coastal eddy...a weak shallow low right along our coast...will combine for a bit of late night/morning low clouds, especially in the western valleys of the Inland Empire, through Friday.

However, we will see strengthening high pressure late in the week that will begin to push the low to the east, diminish the influences of the marine layer by the weekend, keeping the morning clouds near the coast, and warming us up overall.

The result will be gradual warming with highs in the 80s to low 90s most places...lots of sun...and fewer morning clouds late in the week.
