A couple of small quakes were reported this morning to WeatherCurrents. The quakes were centered near Pine Cove and Idyllwild in the San Jacinto mountains. The first quake, which occurred at about 9am, registered a 2.6 on the Richter scale. The second quake, occurring at noon registered a 3.1. Both quakes were reported felt in Hemet and San Jacinto, as well as the nearer communities of Idyllwild Anza and Garner Valley. No damage was reported as a result of the quake. |
