Firefighters battled a large wildfire in the Badlands between Redlands, Yucaipa, and Moreno Valley Wednesday and Thursday. Reports had the fire at 1,160 acres on Thursday.
Santa Ana winds fanned the flames, which began at 12:30pm Wednesday in northern Moreno Valley.
A chicken ranch was reportedly destroyed by the fire, killing between 70,000 and 90,000 chickens.
