Some areas of Riverside County were reporting light showers Wednesday afternoon. Rain was reported in northeast Temecula, and the National Weather Service issued a short-term forecast warning of light showers in mountain areas.
A low pressure system is rolling down the California coast and is responsible for the upper level clouds and moisture today. The storm is eventually expected to pass east over Mexico on Saturday.
None of WeatherCurrents' six stations in the county had recorded any measurable precipitation as of this writing.
Thanks to Michael Mojarro for the Temecula light rain report. |
