Dense fog was present in spots in parts of southwest Riverside county Thursday, according to an eyewitness report. Fog was present on the Interstate 15 corridor between Temecula and Lake Elsinore, including parts of Murrieta and Wildomar.
NOAA satellite imagery also indicated fog present in the Fallbrook area and in other parts of San Diego county to the south. Parts of the Interstate 215 corridor in Riverside county also appear to be affected. Driving may be especially treacherous in the Perris area.
The National Weather Service's Dense Fog Advisory for this morning is in effect until 9am. Low clouds from the marine layer can be expected to hang around longer.
