A tornado or landspout visited the Menifee Valley Sunday afternoon as part of this weekend's weather activity.
In the four o'clock hour, there were reports of a spout or dust devil in the area. Winds in excess of 50 mph knocked down trees, some of which fell on cars.
Downed trees were also reported Saturday from what may have been a similar event in the Lakeland Village area, west of Lake Elsinore.
Thanks to Jason Ash and Brad for their reports. |
