The San Diego office of the National Weather Service has come out with their top weather events for the region in 2006. Many of them (three to be exact) correspond with the previously published WeatherCurrents list.
The NWS categorized the July wildfires up in the Yucca Valley, in San Bernardino County, as the number one weather story in the region. One of the Santa Ana wind events in December also made the list. |
