Perris Installation Scheduled for August; Rancho Bernardo to Follow

Two more weather station installations are scheduled this summer, in Perris, tentatively scheduled for August 4th, and in Rancho Bernardo (San Diego County) sometime in August. The Perris installation will be at the home of Jim Ness, who also hosts the Riverside station at Inland Empire News Radio. Jim will own the weather station equipment and provide a data feed to WeatherCurrents, and WeatherCurrents will assist with the installation and sensor placement. The Perris installation complements existing nearby stations in Sun City, San Jacinto, Hemet and Riverside. The Rancho Bernardo installation will be at the home of NWS forecaster Ted Mackechnie. The exact date is waiting final approval from the homeowner's association there. Other installations this year, or early next year, may occur in Moreno Valley and San Bernardino. |
