Thunderstorms have snuck back into the National Weather Service forecasts for the inland valleys as this week has progressed.
Mid-level moisture is expected to be funneled in tomorrow, leading to cloud buildups and partly cloudy skies through Friday.
The chance of thunderstorms west of the mountains is slight, and forecasters think any rainfall will be limited.
The latest round of moisture follows one about a week ago and another a week before that. Ordinarily by now, fall weather would have taken over, alternating between onshore and dry offshore flow. |
