Posted November 7, 2010, 7:42 PM.The first of two storms whisked through the region Saturday evening, without any measurable rain falling at any of WeatherCurrents' thirteen stations. A second storm was poised to motor through not quite as rapidly Sunday night and Monday morning. Chances of shower for the second storm are greater than the first, but showers should be light, with totals under a quarter of an inch. With the front coming through Monday morning, the showers could potentially make a mess of the morning commute. There will likely be some gusty winds in the wake of the storm tomorrow, according to the National Weather Service's San Diego office. The weather following the storm was predicted to stay cooler and cloudier than normal through the middle of the weak, when a switch from onshore flow to weak offshore flow is expected. |
