Gusty breezes and winds are blowing through southwest Riverside and northern San Diego counties are expected to continue overnight through tomorrow afternoon. The winds are generally coming from the south and southwest in most inland areas, although Temecula is experiencing its regular westerly breezes (albiet stronger than normal) on Friday afternoon.
Wind gusts of up to 23 miles per hour were reported this afternoon in Temecula and Murrieta. Gusts to 21 miles per hour were experienced in Lake Elsinore, and most other WeatherCurrents communities reported gusts up to 19 miles per hour.
A low pressure system moving across Southern California is responsible for the wind and breezes. |
