By John C. Toman. The heat will not be as intense as the past heat wave. Current predictions have temperatures topping out next Monday and Tuesday at 102°F in Hemet, 101°F in Riverside, 98°F in San Bernardino and Temecula, and 90°F in Fallbrook. Last week's temperatures were over triple digits in all but two WeatherCurrents communities (De Luz and Fallbrook), and topped out at 112°F in Lake Elsinore on Saturday. High pressure is expected to draw some tropical moisture into the region this weekend as well. Mountain and desert thunderstorms can't be ruled out. |
