May 22, 2008, 5pm hour: Hail on Moreno Beach Drive at the 60 Freeway in Moreno Valley. The downpour was brief, and it melted quickly. Lightning strikes every couple of minutes were reported during the severe thunderstorm. Photo by Nick Thouas.
