Friday's High Temperatures in Temecula and Murrieta Hottest in Nearly Four Years

The Temecula Valley experienced one of the hottest days this decade on July 14th, as the high temperature rose to 104.6°F. The high temperature in Temecula was the hottest since a scorching 109.4°F on September 1st, 2002. Murrieta's high of 106.8°F was the hottest ever recorded at that location, which began operation in November, 2003. The previous record was 105.0°F on August 28, 2005. |
