Under normal circumstances, the climate should closely follow WeatherCurrents' Lake Elsinore station, which is about eight miles northwest of WeatherCurrents' Wildomar station, just north of the lake.

WeatherCurrents' Murrieta station is about 4 1/2 miles to the south, and normally has a cooler, windier climate.

The location of the solar-shielded temperature sensor is in the sun, fifteen to twenty feet from heat re-radiation sources such as fences, trees, buildings and concrete. The sensor is on a wooden post about five feet off the ground.

The Wildomar weather station is located in the City of Wildomar, close to where Palomar Street become Mission Trail, and within a half mile of Wildomar Park and Grand Avenue.
