December 22, 2010, 4pm: A collage of flooding in the Historic Downtown Murrieta district. The culvert under this road was overcome by floodwaters, rendering the road impassable. This scene was repeated in many locations in the inland valleys on Tuesday and Wednesday, as continuing heavy rainfall overcame flood control efforts. Photo by Sandy Wood.
