It's early spring, however, and the next week will feature three low pressure systems and two chances of rainfall, beginning tonight with drizzle and light showers. Measurable rainfall, if there is any, is expected to be less than a tenth of an inch through Sunday morning.

On Friday, temperatures reached the middle 90's in many locations, including 95°F in Wildomar, Lake Elsinore, and Menifee, traditionally the hot spots during heat waves. San Bernardino was 94°F, and Murrieta hit 93°F. Riverside's high was 91°F. Temecula, Hemet and Moreno Valley recorded 90°F. The coolest locations were Fallbrook (86°F), De Luz (87°F), and Beaumont (88°F).

Thursday's hottest temperatures were in Riverside (98°F), Lake Elsinore and San Bernardino (95°F) and Wildomar and Menifee (94°F).

Although Monday and Tuesday look fair and warmer, two more systems will keep things interesting through the end of the week. The first one should just bring clouds Tuesday and ?Wednesday, and increased marine layer. The second system is colder and could lead to some light rain and snow in the local mountains on Friday.
