Patchy frost and freezing temperatures may be in store in some inland valleys Monday morning as a cold airmass begins a three day threat. Some offshore winds will keep some areas frost-free tonight and tomorrow morning, but wind-sheltered areas will be prone to frost.
Some areas of the Menifee, Elsinore, San Jacinto and Temecula valleys are expected to be affected. Temperatures had already fallen into the upper 30's in many spots as of 10pm Sunday night.
Predicted lows for Monday morning were 34°F in Temecula, 33°F in Murrieta, 34°F in Sun City, 34°F in Lake Elsinore, and 30°F in Hemet.
Freezing temperatures were not expected in Fallbrook, De Luz or in the Canyon Crest area of Riverside. |
