September Thunderstorm/Lightning Photos (updated)

Thunder and lightning the night of September 19th and the morning of September 20th kept many residents of western Riverside and northern San Diego counties awake.

Rainfall amounts for the day were generally sparse but added up to as much as 0.40" in some locations (Lake Elsinore). Murrieta recorded 0.36", Sun City 0.21". Further south, in central Temecula, 0.25" was recorded (thanks to Keith Newman), and 0.16" in south Temecula. East Hemet did not have any recorded rainfall and only 0.04" fell in Hemet. Most of the rain fell in the early morning.
