Storm Totals: January 20, 2010

Posted January 22, 2010, 8:12 AM.

The third in a series of storms arrived on Wednesday and, like the others, left substantial rainfall in the inland valleys.

Riverside and San Diego counties were already quite soaked from the first two storms. Wednesday's storm was more like the first than the second, with rain totals ranging from 0.40" to 1.26" among the twelve WeatherCurrents stations.

The highest total was from the Temecula Valley Wine Country, 1.30", recorded by Jim Sappington.

The lowest total for the storm was 0.40", in Valle Vista in the Hemet area.

Some rain gauges continued to have trouble Wednesday. The Perris rain gauge was under recording, and the Moreno Valley rain gauge was over recording. Totals from those stations have been adjusted, via a manual gauge at the Perris site and a nearby station in Moreno Valley.
