By Jim Purpura. Posted November 22, 2011, 10:58 AM.

After temperatures rebound from the cool, rainy weekend, rain will be back for Thanksgiving.

The next in a series of storms will move toward southern California. Right now, the computer forecast models show the storm headed on a track off the coast. This will take the heaviest rainfall over the Pacific Ocean. Best forecast for the Inland Empire and north San Diego County is a few tenths of an inch of rain, mostly on Thanksgiving (Thursday) and Thursday evening.

Beginning Friday a strong ridge of high pressure quickly builds over the area, bringing a rapid warmup. Friday will warm to the to 60s, then we will see highs in the 70s to abound 80 degrees Saturday through Monday. Offshore winds Saturday through will be light in most areas, with breezy offshore winds in the Cajon Pass and the Banning Pass.
